The Sunraysia Academy of Sport tennis program with players from Mildura, Swan Hill and the surrounding regions, over the recent holidays and tournament attendance have performed their winning ways and are building to a great second half of the year.
Nine different athletes achieved ‚Äėfinals‚Äô representation for themselves and the ‚ÄėAcademy‚Äô and region, in total 5 x winners | 1 x runners up | 4 x semi-finalists | 3 x quarter-finalists. This is an awesome follow up to 2013 with more to come.

Covering travel from Sunraysia to South Australia to Bendigo to Warrnambool to Ballarat to CBD Melbourne, athlete‚Äôs and parents make a dedication to the sport which reflects highly on their commitment and the Sports Academy‚Äôs endeavours.¬†
Tournament Support was on offer at the Tennis World JT (Melbourne Park) where Doug Hill spent¬†¬† ¬†4 x days with players covering areas of warm up; play preparation; match analysis; physical maintenance and mental awareness. Players that attended received a report to add to the ever growing diary of knowledge to further advance their dreams.
The SAS Tennis program is a holistic approach with parents and private coaches involved so that the athletes, along with weekly gym sessions (held at Chaffey Secondary College) and sport science education, receive all the support they need to advance their potential and dreams.
